Thrive week Oct 31st-Nov 4th: building positive mental health for all

MONDAY Oct 31st- Kick off Launch 2pm UC food court. Join us as the President signs the Okanagan Charter, a commitment to a health promoting campus!


TUESDAY Nov 1st- Thrive Photo challenge! Take a photo of what you do for wellness, send it to @MUNStudentLife #munthrive. Prizes!


WEDNESDAY Nov 2nd- Look on SnapChat for our MUN geofilter and help spread the word about our New Student Support System!


THURSDAY Nov 3rd- UC 3rd floor OASIS: Puppies, Popcorn, Plants; A place to relax and chat!


FRIDAY Nov 4th– Yoga at 12 in the Landing!


EVERYDAY at 12 noon– Meditation in UC 2001.

Come join us for a peaceful hour and go back to your work or schoolday feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Mon - Fri 12:00 p.m - 1:00 p.m. UC - 2001. FREE and open to everyone! (Students, faculty, staff, general public).

 "Trojan Trolley Tuesdays"-UC 3rd floor-Tuesdays

10am-2pm

Protect yourself and your partner by buying some condoms every Tuesday from 10-2 on the third floor of the UC. Get 8 condoms for $2; an assortment of colors and styles available. Remember: "No Glove...No Love!"

Green Mindfulness/Therapy Dogs/Wellness Resource Kiosk-UC 3rd floor-Thursdays 10am-2pm

Need to de-stress? Come visit the green mindfulness and take a plant home for free, have a chat and pet or hug a therapy dog. Visit the Wellness Resource Kiosk/Displays to get information on a variety of health topics, find resources for papers and assignments, and speak to peers!

Failing? Academic problems? Just can't get it together? If so, we can provide you with the people and programs to help you out. Memorial meetup brings together many of Memorial’s departments, faculties and schools aiming to provide undergraduate students convenient and timely access to campus resources that support undergraduate students.

 


 

Terry Fox Run-COMPLETED-Thanks to all those who participated this year!

In 1980, Terry Fox ran across Canada to raise money for cancer research. The Terry Fox Run keeps his hope alive that one day a cure for all cancers will be found.
