Witless Bay Important Bird Areas Website
Welcome to the Witless Bay Islands - Important Bird Area (IBA) webpage. This site is specially designed to increase the awareness of marine birds found in the Witless Bay IBA. Please browse through our site to view both information and amazing photographs of the seabirds that make this area an Important Bird Area and learn about the scientific research conducted on these birds. You will also find information about the IBA program and our educational outreach project. This webpage was designed by the graduate students of the Biopsychology Programme at the Memorial University of Newfoundland with funding from the Important Bird Areas Community Action Fund (Canadian Nature Federation and Birdlife International).
