Student Development Fund
In 1995, Memorial University of Newfoundland, with approval from the Board of Regents, established the Student Development Fund in order to enable monies realized through student contributions to be entrusted for quality of student life initiatives.
These initiatives have included the building of the University Centre, the upgrading of athletic and recreational facilities, the improvement of academic facilities, scholarship offerings, and many other projects and programs.
This fund continues to support the enhancement of the student experience at Memorial, including student-focused infrastructure improvements, recognition of student accomplishments, and student engagement, development and training.
The fund is administered by the Deputy Provost (Students) and Associate Vice-President (Academic) Undergraduate Studies.
