The Heterosexism Enquirer wishes the creative and talented Lori Yetman well in her new position as Sexual Harassment Advisor at Memorial University. Lori has been webmaster for The Heterosexism Enquirer since fall 1999, and has been responsible for designing the web site itself, managing the web conference and editing the monthly newsletters. As principal researcher of this project I have been delighted with Lori’s creativity, initiative, good humour and technical expertise. THE’s "wicked", "brilliant" and "marvelous" website is the product of Lori’s skills, imagination and hard work. We thank her for this significant contribution to challenging heterosexism in our province, and wish her well in her new role.
We have worked out how to maintain The Heterosexism Enquirer. For the next few months Lori will continue to manage the web conference and produce monthly "on line" newsletters. She will not have time to produce hard copy versions, but we will mail, fax or email announcements when each issue goes on line. Lori will also help prepare a manual for people managing the website in future and gather the material for the final report to MCEWH this summer. The Heterosexism Enquirer’s future beyond that date will depend on the success of our various funding initiatives.
