Course Name: Sociology 1000 – Introduction to Sociology is an introduction to the concepts, principles, and topics of sociology. It is an on-campus and lecture-oriented course (3 credit hours).

Required Qualifications:

A completed Master’s Degree in Sociology is required. Demonstrated knowledge of the key concepts of sociology is required. Previous experience teaching this course and demonstrated teaching effectiveness would be an asset.
