MUN Alumni and Harris Entrance Scholarships

Memorial University of Newfoundland Alumni Entrance Scholarship and Dr. Leslie Harris Memorial University Alumni Association Scholarship: Deadline March 1, 2012

Packages have been sent to every high school in Newfoundland and Labrador. These scholarships are for students graduating from a Newfoundland and Labrador high school who have a minimum of a 90% average on the courses required for admission to University and who demonstrate leadership contributions and involvement in their school and community.

If you feel you are eligible to apply, please contact the guidance counsellor at your high school. The application form can be found here on the Memorial University Scholarships and Awards site. 

Featured Scholarships

The Noia-Hibernia Commemorative Scholarship is a scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating high school student in NL who is entering post-secondary studies and intending to pursue a petroleum-related career. The award is based on academic and extra-curricular criteria. Deadline for applications is August 23, 2013. 

The Wild Things Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship from Nature NL and Wildland Tours recognizing the enthusiasm and efforts of a student whose volunteer activities have helped to conserve or enhance nature in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is available to residents of this province who are, or will be, enrolled in a post-secondary program and who have demonstrated an active committment to nature and the environment through their volunteer activities. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2013.
