2005-2006 Winners

Benjamin Gerrior

Kyle Reese
Years at MUN: One

What this award meant to him: To me, my award meant the
recognition and acknowledgement of my community involvements and
academic achievements. Most importantly, it facilitated my desire to
experience academic life at Memorial University. Awards such as the
Millennium Excellence Award aid students with part of monumental
student debt faced by those wishing to complete post secondary
education. After I receive my arts degree at memorial, I would like
to study law, which I must do outside the province. This will require
a large financial investment, and it is comforting to know that the
government of Canada is helping to ease this burden through such
scholarship programs.
