Bio-molecular Imaging Cluster
The BIC provides both faculties and students (undergraduate and graduate), as well as other university researchers and outside agencies with the training and research support to visually analyze biological and other types of samples through various imaging techniques at the molecular level. The facilities are not only for biological research but also support a wide range of projects. BIC houses four main pieces of research equipment: the scanning electron microscope (SEM), the scanning probe microscope (SPM), the confocal Raman microscope and the epifluorescence microscope. Our laboratory is also equipped with a color format printer.
The laboratory is located on the first floor of the Science building. Any questions or concerns about the services and instruments offered can be directed to the personnel in charge. Inquiries about user fees and scheduling, or sample submission should be made to the facility coordinators.
