Reimagining Leadership

Women’s leadership is not a women’s issue – it’s an issue for us all. Characterized by emotional intelligence and ethical decision-making, women’s leadership is essential for the well-being of society. However, despite significant progress, recent world events show there is still a need to keep women’s rights front and centre.

On June 16, 2022, Memorial University launched Reimagining Leadership: Portraits of Resilience. The response to bringing more than 300 people of diverse backgrounds together was overwhelmingly positive – check out this video to see some highlights of the day!

We are thrilled to announce that the second Reimagining Leadership, Portraits of Courage, will take place on March 2, 2023 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the St. John’s Convention Centre.

We are proud to present this year’s courageous keynote speakers: activist and advocate Elizabeth Smart; Indigenous fashion designer Sage Paul; and world champion Olympian Perdita Felicien.

A panel discussion will focus on courage in the Newfoundland and Labrador context and a stellar group of musical artists will entertain and inspire throughout the day.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to help redraw leadership by attending Portraits of Courage!
