Interdisciplinary interaction and research among the divisions of BioMedical Sciences, Community Health and Humanities and the Clinical Disciplines is promoted.

Programs have been designed to attract students interested in a Graduate Diploma or a M.Sc., M.P.H., Ph.D. or M.D-Ph.D. degree. Areas of strength include Applied Health Services Research, Cancer and Development, Cardiovascular and Renal Sciences, Clinical Epidemiology, Community Health, Human Genetics, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Neurosciences, Nutrition/Dietetics, and Population/Public Health.
