Admission is limited and competitive. To be considered for admission, an applicant will normally hold an Honours Degree or equivalent, and will have a breadth of knowledge in Gender Studies satisfactory to the Graduate Studies Advisory Committee.

Applicants who do not have an adequate background in Gender Studies my be required to complete Gender Studies 3005 or Gender Studies 3025 or equivalent normally with a grade of 75% or higher.
