The Division of Marketing and Communications is Memorial University of Newfoundland's public relations and communications centre. The Division is dedicated to serving the University's internal and external communications needs, as well as to responding to the community’s needs for information about Memorial University of Newfoundland. The Division provides general information about Memorial University of Newfoundland, communications counsel and planning, news services including the Gazette and as well as media relations and issues management (including crisis communications coordination). The Division also has expertise in institutional marketing, university event management (including Convocation), photography (including a university photo bank), graphic design, co-ordination of promotional projects, institutional web management and web content development. The Division can provide advice on protocol, government relations, issues management, special event planning, and marketing planning.
