THE BACHELOR OF ARTS AND BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAMMES
For the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees at Grenfell College students must complete one hundred twenty credit hours subject to the Core Programme and Specialization requirements.
The aim of the Core Programme is to ensure breadth. In the Core students will take a variety of

improve their basic academic skills, to think critically and independently about a broad range of
subjects, and to develop their awareness of social, cultural, scientific and political issues. The
aim of the Area of Specialization is to ensure depth. In the Area of Specialization students will
be expected to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a single discipline or interdisciplinary field of
study.
