Rabanus Maurus's <em>De rerum naturis</em>, also known as <em>De
universo</em>, is an encyclopedic compilation which he assembled
between 842 and 846. The earliest edition was
edited and printed by Adolf Rusch (the so-called "R-Printer") about 1466.
This edition was then reprinted in 1627, and again in the series
<em>Patrologia Latina</em> in 1851.
