Eastern Health Clinical Pastoral Education Program
Focus: Bereavement Care, Palliative Care and End-of-Life Ethics

The focus of the Eastern Health CPE Program is Palliative and End-of-Life Care (PEOLC), focusing specifically on the delivery of Bereavement Services, including anticipatory grief and bereavement follow-up, and end-of-life ethical considerations, as well as attention to the interprofessional approach to care. Given the unique palliative care focus of this program bereavement interns will be placed in a variety of settings including palliative care, long-term care, cancer care and community settings.
