Funding and Awards for Public Engagement
Memorial University's Office of Public Engagement offers funding and awards programs to further the goals and objectives of the Public Engagement Framework.
Public Engagement Accelerator Fund
Memorial's Public Engagement Accelerator Fund offers up to $10,000 to support the initiation or extension of public engagement activities that link to Memorial’s academic mission.
Proposals may be initiated by a full-time faculty, staff member or a PhD student based at Memorial University. All proposals require an external co-applicant and must demonstrate mutual contribution and mutual benefit for Memorial University and for public collaborators.
Application deadlines: August 21 2015 and January 8 2016.
President's Award for Public Engagement Partnerships
Reward collaboration. Nominate an exemplary community-university partnership for the President's Award for Public Engagement Partnerships.
The deadline for nominations is Friday July 3 2015.

Public Engagement Postdoctoral Fellowships
Memorial’s Office of Public Engagement and the Faculty of Arts were pleased to offer the inaugural Postdoctoral Fellowship in association with the Shorefast Foundation in 2014. Dr. Pam Hall was the recipient of the fellowship.
New fellowship opportunities were funded in 2015 and the names of these Public Engagement Postdoctoral Fellows will be published soon.
