Memorial University's Office of Public Engagement offers funding and awards programs to further the goals and objectives of the Public Engagement Framework.

Quick Start Fund for Public Engagement - Opening February 1, 2017

The Quick Start Fund for Public Engagement supports small projects such as preliminary meetings, events and service learning projects, that are in keeping with the goals of Memorial’s Public Engagement Framework.

President's Award for Public Engagement Partnerships 

Reward collaboration. Nominate an exemplary community-university partnership for the President's Award for Public Engagement Partnerships.

Nominations are accepted in Spring/Summer. Check back in Spring 2017 for important award dates.

Public Engagement Accelerator Fund 

Memorial's Public Engagement Accelerator Fund offers up to $10,000 to support the initiation or extension of public engagement activities that link to Memorial’s mission.

Public Engagement Postdoctoral Fellowships - Closed

Memorial’s Office of Public Engagement and the Faculty of Arts were pleased to offer the inaugural Postdoctoral Fellowship in association with the Shorefast Foundation in 2014. Dr. Pam Hall was the recipient of the fellowship.

New fellowship opportunities were funded in 2015 and the names of these Public Engagement Postdoctoral Fellows will be published soon.
