Funding for Public Engagement
The Office of Public Engagement provides funding to further the goals and objectives of the Public Engagement Framework.
The current funding program is the Quick Start Fund for Public Engagement, opening December 2, 2013, which provides support for smaller projects, such as preliminary meetings, events and service learning projects, that are in keeping with the goals of Memorial’s Public Engagement Framework.
The Quick Start fund is open to Memorial faculty, staff, groups and organizations, and provides up to $1000 per project. Applications are welcomed on a rolling basis, with the fund closing once the total allocation amount has been distributed. The total amount to be distributed through the 2013-2014 cycle of the fund is $30,000.
