Enactus students will present on a number of recent initiatives, including:

Planting Potential: Instilling the importance of food security by running
community gardens around St. John’s, Newfoundland. Through our main garden facility at the Autism Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador we are hiring Autism Centre Members to teach youth groups how to operate their own gardens. Then together with Enactus Memorial these groups can make their own gardens at their own facilities.

World at Work: Offering new Canadians the opportunity to explore their
entrepreneurial spirit and gain valuable work experience in Newfoundland.

Project Bottlepreneur: Helping those who push carts and collect
recyclables for a living have a safer and more empowering job by setting
them up with a curbside recycling business.
