The management, administration and control of the property, revenue, business and affairs of the University are vested in a Board of Regents.
It is appointed under the Memorial University Act and is responsible for the management, administration, and control of the property, revenue, business and affairs of the university.
Matters of an academic character are in general charge of the Senate of the University.
The Vice-Presidents Council is the senior administrative committee of the University. It is a decision-making body with responsibility for pan-university operations and affairs, for matters that cross over vice-presidential portfolios, and for making recommendations to the President on matters within his or her sole authority.
