To interested researchers, please note:

  1. Research Grant and Contract Services internal deadlines for Comprehensive Review for these competitions are: noon, 10 working days before the sponsor deadlines.
  2. Research Grant and Contract Services internal deadlines for Institutional Review for these competitions iare: noon, 3 working days before the sponsor deadlines.
  3. When submitting an application for Institutional Review, be sure to include the appropriate Approval Form from your Department/Faculty with the application.
  4. Please notify a Grants Coordinator at Research Grant and Contract Services of your intent to apply to the upcoming competition(s).

Research Funding for 2014

The CLF is pleased to announce the 2014 research grant competition is now open. Funds are available to award two operating grants, one graduate studentship and five summer studentships.

Operating Grants

Two operating grants may be awarded to researchers in Canada whose research projects are related to liver cancer.

Graduate Studentships

One graduate studentship may be awarded to a student in Alberta whose research project is related to liver cancer.

Summer Studentships

One summer studentship may be awarded to a student in British Columbia whose research project is related to paediatric liver disease;

Two summer studentships may be awarded to students in Nova Scotia whose projects are related to hepatobiliary research;

Two summer studentships may be awarded to students in Ontario whose research projects are related to hepatobiliary research.
