The Barend Kiefte Reference Room
The department has its own reference room which houses thousands of philosophy texts. The room also contains two computers with word-processing and Internetcapabilities.
It is also a place to study, read, or meet others in thedepartment. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the reference room, then you should try the university's excellent library and computer resources.
Departmental Computers
Everyone in the department has access to computers. Students can use the departmental computers or can get a free account for the hundreds of terminals throughout the campus.
Philosophy Colloquia
Faculty members and Visiting Professors frequently present
papers for public discussion.
