St. John's Public Lecture Series

On the first Tuesday of every month at the Ship Inn, a pub in downtown St. John's, a speaker will give a public lecture, followed by an open discussion. The purpose of these lectures is to bring philosophy to the general public, and to discuss philosophical themes in an open and relaxed atmosphere. No prior philosophical training by attendees is expected.

Our last public lecture was by Dr. Shannon Hoff, entitled “What is Freedom? On Art, Politics, and Tragedy." Check back here for more information on February's lecture!
