John Hawboldt

John graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992, completed a Hospital Pharmacy Residency at Alberta Children’s Hospital the following year and completed a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Washington in 2004.

In between all of that, he has worked in a variety of patient care areas in both hospital and community settings. John joined the Faculty at the School of Pharmacy at MUN in 2004.

He is currently also cross-appointed to the Department of Pharmacy and Respirology at Eastern Health and MUN. He has an interest in antimicrobial stewardship and serves on both the Eastern Health and the Provincial Committees. Primary areas of interest in teaching and research include infectious diseases and respirology. His current clinical practice site is with the Cystic Fibrosis Program of Eastern Health (both adult and pediatric).
