The program is competitive for a limited number of seats (40 in total) and priority is given to applicants who are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. Normally, 35 seats are offered to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. Of the 35 seats, one seat is reserved for an eligible applicant of Aboriginal descent from Newfoundland & Labrador. The remaining 5 seats are open to non-residents of Newfoundland & Labrador, including international applicants.
The application deadline for admission to the entry-to-practice PharmD program each September is February 1 of that same year.
The Admissions Committee selects applicants who exhibit strong academic capabilities, demonstrate the qualities and skills necessary to be an effective pharmacist, and display a commitment to a career in pharmacy.

Applications for admission in Fall 2018 will be available October 1, 2017.
In addition to Memorial University's general application fee, the School of Pharmacy Pharm.D. application fee is $125 for Canadian applicants and $175 for international applicants. Application fees are charged upon submission of the online application.
