Dr. Jason Kielly

Dr. Jason Kielly graduated from Memorial University, School of Pharmacy in 2004. After graduation he worked as a community pharmacist for one year, mainly in the St. John’s area. In October 2005 he moved to Memphis, Tennessee and continued to work as a community pharmacist.

Dr. Kielly joined the School of Pharmacy as the Drug Information Pharmacist in October 2007 and worked in this position until 2010. Upon completion of his PharmD from the University of Toronto in 2010, he accepted a position as a faculty member with the school. He is currently a clinical pharmacist with Eastern Health’s Rheumatic Health Program.

His current research areas of interest include the expanded scope of pharmacy practice, the impact of the pharmacist on health outcomes and chronic medical conditions (mainly musculoskeletal and HIV) and optimizing medication use and provision of health services.
