Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy is located in the Health Sciences Centre together with the Faculty of Medicine, the School of Nursing, several research units including the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education, eHealth Research Unit, Janeway Pediatric Research Unit, Primary Healthcare Research Unit, Centre for Health Informatics and Analytics, and many more. This setting is unique among pharmacy programs in Canada.

 

The School of Pharmacy also has excellent working relationships with health professional associations, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information and there are many opportunities for collaboration.
