Research Interests: My current research interests are molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis and immunity in marine aquatic organism towards needle-free vaccine development. Research in my laboratory includes classic microbiology, molecular bacteriology, genetic engineer and recombinant DNA, functional genomics and fish assays to identify and study key mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis in marine aquatic organisms. Also, we are conducting research on bacteriophage biology and bacteriophage prophylaxis.
