Q: I am purchasing a new computer; how do I initiate this?

These purchases are made via an internal requisition process and are paid out of a grant. You are required to provide the grant number against which the purchase can be billed. Purchasing can be made directly via the MUN CPC (Computer purchasing centre) by calling extension 2673. You should discuss your purchase with an OSCit consultant prior to ordering. Once you have placed an order, you will receive a CPC requisition via e-mail. You will be required to have this order signed in the main office. Once signed, the requisition is faxed back to CPC (ext. 2630). Your order will now be processed and your grant billed. Delivery time depends on item availability. OSCit is not responsible for orders as these are made via another MUN department and division. A full list of available items for purchase can be viewed on the CPC web site (http://www.mun.ca/cpc).
