A. Currently, you are not permitted to alter your autogenerated password. Given that some accounts allow for access to OSC resources from outside the MUN campus, we must ensure that all user passwords provide for a minimum of complexity to ensure they are not easily compromised by outside parties. As a result, our systems autogenerate a password for users which automatically meet these requirements. We are currently evaluating a method to allow users to change passwords securely, however this system has not been tested or implemented yet.
