Nursing Sites

There are three independent schools of Nursing that serve as the site locations for the Bachelor of Nursing (Collaborative) Program at Memorial University of Newfoundland:

The Centre for Nursing Studies (CNS) is located at 100 Forest Road in St. John's. The Four-Year Program and the LPN Bridging Option are available at this site. Student housing on the main campus of Memorial University in St. John's is available to those students attending the CNS. Students can make the short commute from living on the main campus to the CNS, via the Metrobus, for example.

Memorial University School of Nursing (MUNSON) is located in St. John's at the Health Sciences Centre. The Four-Year Program and the Fast-Track Option are available at this site. Student housing on the main campus of Memorial University in St. John's is available to those students attending MUNSON.

Western Regional School of Nursing (WRSON) is located in Corner Brook and is in close proximity to Western Regional Memorial Hospital. The Four-Year Program and the Fast-Track Option are available at this site. Student housing is available on-site at WRSON by staying in Monaghan Hall. As well, students have the option of living on Memorial University's Grenfell Campus, which is only a 10 minute walk to the hospital.

The three sites offer the same Bachelor of Nursing (Collaborative) Four-Year Program. As well, Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Nursing and Western Regional School of Nursing offer the same Fast-Track Option. The main difference between the three sites, other than which Program option they offer, is simply location.
