This year's School of Nursing (SON) Reunion 2014 was held on October 23/24, 2014, as part of Memorial University Reunion 2014, and under the MUNdays umbrella. MUNdays is Memorial's premiere spirit event that features events for  alumni, faculty, students and staff for a variety of activities.

Our SON mix and mingle evening was a terrific welcome event this year, with class representation from the 2004, 1999, 1989, 1984 and 1979. We also had a great turnout of faculty, staff, and invited guests including current students and representatives from the larger nursing community.

The chocolate buffet, created by the Newfoundland Chocolate Company, was a huge success, and by the end of the evening there were no leftovers! The chocolate company even created a signature nurses’ truffle for the occassion. Fourth-year CNS Nursing student Heather Hawkins provided the entertainment, playing both violin and guitar!

It was a great evening, followed next day by individual class events.
