Message from Dr. Alice Gaudine, dean pro tempore
Welcome to Memorial University School of Nursing, where we have been educating nurses since 1966.
This is a wonderful place to come and learn the art and science of nursing. We are a welcoming school, proud of the quality of our program and proud of the quality of the nurses we educate.
The women and men who complete our program leave with the knowledge and skills they need to care for patients, clients and families in a variety of challenging settings, and work with communities to improve health for all.
Our graduates are in demand as direct-care nurses across this country, and as they progress in their careers, assume roles as nurse leaders in nursing and health care organizations.
Our faculty members are highly-motivated, well-prepared and excited about teaching. We care about your success and your well-being, and are committed to fostering excellence and intellectual curiosity as we share our knowledge and expertise. We believe in building relationships that are dynamic, and grounded in a spirit of mutual respect.
We value life-long learning and offer graduate programs at the masters and PhD levels, recognizing that a spirit of inquiry is necessary at all stages of a nurse’s career.
We look forward to seeing you here at Memorial’s School of Nursing.
Dr. Alice Gaudine, dean pro tempore
