Air

There are flights from Halifax, Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton and Newark. NOTE: the airport destination code for St. John's, Newfoundland, is YYT. It is important to inform your travel agent of this code when making reservations. Delegates may wish to explore seat sales through on-line travel sites. Airlines flying into St. John's include Air Canada, WestJet, Continental Airlines, and Porter Airlines.

Ferry

Marine Atlantic ferries run between Sydney, Nova Scotia and two ports in Newfoundland: Port aux Basque (four and a half hour ferry ride with an eleven hour drive to St. John’s), and Argentia (fourteen hour ferry ride with a one and a half hour drive to St. John’s). Reservations for the ferry can be made by dialing 1-800-341-7981.

Taxi Fare

Gulliver’s City Wide Taxi services the St. John’s International Airport. The fee to the University is approximately $15. Downtown locations, including, Delta Hotel, is approximately $20.
