Wednesday, October 13th
Welcoming Reception 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Please join us at the Emma Butler Gallery
located at 111 George Street West (directly across the street from The Delta), for a wine and cheese reception. The gallery has a collection of fine art from Newfoundland, Labrador, Canada, the United States, France and Russia that will be available for viewing and purchase during the reception. Following the reception take the opportunity to have dinner at one of the many restaurants in downtown St. John’s, most of which are within a five minute walk.
Thursday, October 14th
Day 1 Conference 8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Coach will depart The Delta at 7:45 a.m.
and return at 3:45 p.m.
Today's events will be held at the Admirals Green Clubhouse Pippy Park,
where you will have a 360-degree view of the city, Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfast will be served on arrival, breaks and lunch will also be provided on site.
Reception and Tour of the Ship Bridge Simulator
5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Dinner 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Coach will depart The Delta at 5:15 p.m.
and return at 9:00 p.m.
Tonight we will be transported from the hotel to the Marine Institute for a wine and cheese reception and dinner. While at the Marine Institute we will also have a tour of their world-famous Ship Bridge Simulator.
Friday October 15th
Day 2 Conference 8:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Coach will depart The Delta at 7:45 a.m.
and return at 1:15 p.m.
Today’s sessions will be held in the Junior Common Room at R. Gushue Hall, Memorial University. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel and breakfast, breaks and lunch will be provided on site and hosted by the President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Gary Kachanoski.
Spousal Program
Spouses or guests accompanying delegates may choose to participate in the reception on Wednesday evening and the tour, reception and dinner on Thursday evening. Cost to attend is $125 and attendees should register on the delegate registration form.
