Founded in 1925 as a living memorial to Newfoundland's war dead, today Memorial University has four campuses, each with its own personality. Many of the university's facilities and services are also open to the community.
The largest university in Atlantic Canada, Memorial offers more than 100 degree programs to a student population of 17,500. Students can expand their horizons at one of two campuses in St. John's, including science, health, arts, fine arts, social sciences, engineering, education, and business.
