Monday, August 4th at 12:30 at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre An unforgettable docu-dance, this multi-media, one-woman show recreates the life of storyteller, musician and dancer Florence Leprieur, aged 94, from the province's Port-au-Port Peninsula.

SOUP AND SCANDINAVIA at Cochrane Street United
Tuesday, August 5th at 12:30

A concert of music from Norway, Denmark and Sweden, followed by a light lunch provided by the men and women of historic Cochrane St. United Church. Featuring Haugaard and Høirup, Owe Ronström, Karin Eriksson, Mats Nilsson, Ingegerd Sigfridsson and Trent Bruner.

Workshops


Workshop Passes - A full week, a day or just one or two sessions ...
A busy schedule of workshops; some of them will be instructional (bring your instrument), some of them demonstrations, some conversational workshops, and a few session workshops. Good for up to twenty workshops throughout the week, these passes will be available in advance at FRED'S RECORDS on Duckworth Street and O'BRIEN'S MUSIC STORE on Water Street here in St. John's
Week Long Pass (up to 20 workshops) - $80
Day Pass (up to 4 workshops) - $18
Individual Workshop - $5

Day and Single Workshop passes will also be available the week of the conference at our information desk in the main concourse of the Arts and Culture Centre.

Space and popularity of each workshop can vary; to avoid disappointment please arrive early to ensure a seat.

Late Night Dances


Happening in the evening after the concerts, Memorial University's Gushue Hall will be the place to be to learn a new old dance or kick up your heels. 10:30 P.M. until 1:00 A.M.
