The MUNFA Negotiating Committee and administration negotiators are now editing the agreed text of the new Collective Agreement. In addition, the text of several clauses of the article covering salaries and benefits is being finalized; these clauses were agreed in principle at the conclusion of negotiations with the stipulation that final drafting would be completed as soon as possible thereafter.
Once this editorial process is complete MUNFA will provide all members with a copy of the tentative Agreement. Subsequently an Information Meeting will be held, and then a ratification vote. Further information on these arrangements will be provided by the MUNFA Executive in due course. It is hoped to complete this process before the end of the Fall Semester.
In a parallel process, the tentative Agreement will go to the Board of Regents for their ratification.
