CONCILIATOR FILES HIS REPORT

Mr. George Joyce, the government conciliation officer, having concluded that negotiations between MUNFA and the MUN administration are at an impasse, yesterday (September 19^th) filed a report with the Minister of Environment and Labour to notify him of that fact.

As matters now stand, MUNFA will be in a position to take a strike vote on October 5^th or thereafter, and to strike at any time after a favorable vote.
