FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PERSONAL UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE POLICIES

MUNFA members who have personal unemployment insurance policies, probably attached to their credit cards (such as CIBC-VISA) should read any such policies of NOTICE requirements. We are aware of a case in which a policy stipulates a 15 day notice requirement. It behooves those who have such coverage to check the requirements to ensure that they receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
