TO: All MUNFA Members FROM: The Nominating and Balloting Committee, MUNFA DATE: May 28, 2007 SUBJECT: SECOND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR TWO MEMBER-AT-LARGE POSITIONS ON THE MUNFA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2007-2008
Due to the resignation of Dr. Richard Rivkin, (Ocean Sciences Centre) from the Executive Committee and the continuing vacancy in the Past President position, MUNFA is soliciting nominations for two vacant Member-at-Large positions on the Executive Committee 2007-2008. A11 MUNFA members are eligible for these positions. To date, no nominations have been received.
An official nominating form is enclosed. Each nomination must be accompanied by (1) the signature of the nominee (indicating his or her willingness to serve), and (2) the signatures of a proposer and seconder. All three must be members of MUNFA. Each candidate has the option of submitting to the committee a statement of not more than 150 words which shall be circulated to the membership.
