6. All auditions will be videotaped for judging purposes.
7. All contestants must agree to sign a video release consent form at the time of audition granting Memorial University the right to use, exploit and distribute, in any media whatsoever, the contestant’s name, the videotaped audition performance, the contestant’s comments, and judges’ comments pertaining to the audition performance without any further consent or compensation.
8. Ten (10) finalists (one (1) of which will be chosen from Grenfell Campus) will be chosen by the panel of judges following the completion of all auditions. Selected finalists will be contacted by Wednesday, October 5th, 2011. Decisions regarding selected finalists shall be made at the absolute discretion of the judges.
9. Finalists will be required to perform a second rant at a live, final event to be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24th, 2011. At this event, the ten (10) selected finalists will be called to perform on stage in front of the panel of judges and a live audience. A first, second, and third place winner will be chosen at the time of the event at the discretion of the judges panel.
