Salam Alukum Brothers and Sisters,

Thanks to Allah Almighty, MSA is pleased to announce the introduction of Jumu'a prayer on campus starting this Friday June 15th, 2012 inshallah.

Why?
We started this initiative as a request by many MUN students, faculty, and employees as well as brothers and sisters in our community. Many found that they missed or were late to their classes, exams or labs when going by bus to the masjid for Friday prayer. Inshallah by providing this service we will resolve these issues.

Details:

Place: Chapel (St. John's college building)
Time: 1:10pm
Parking: AREA22 (NOT the one right next to the chapel, but it is on the backside of the building). The gate will be open between 12:30-1:30. Please clear your vehicle after the prayer.

Other Details

Please try to make Wudu (ablution) somewhere else before coming to the chapel, as there is only 1 washroom with 1 sink in the building which is shared among other people in the building.
Bus service to the masjid will still be available (The bus leaves from Chemistry-Physics building at 1:00pm and returns back to the same location by 2:00pm).
