Memorial University of Newfoundland Folklore and Language Archive
The Memorial University of Newfoundland Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA) was established by the Folklore Department in 1968 and has been a major resource for publications of international significance, including The Dictionary of Newfoundland English and Folktales of Newfoundland.MUNFLA and MMaP have collaborated on several projects, including the MacEdward Leach Songs of Atlantic Canada website, and the first two CDs in the archival series -- It’s Time for Another One: Folk Songs from the South Coast of Newfoundland and Folklore of Newfoundland and Labrador: A Sampler of Songs, Narrations, and Tunes.
