Adm. Hist/Bio. Sketch: H.B. Clyde Lake Limited was incorporated on March 22, 1946, with directors Spencer Lake as President and Harold Lake as Vice-president. By the late 1940s, the company had become the largest exporter of salt fish in Newfoundland. In the 1950s, the company moved into the frozen fish industry.
Scope and Content: This series consists of administrative records of H.B. Clyde Lake Limited and its subsidiary companies and general files relating to all aspects of their business. Included are articles of association, share registers, correspondence, financial documents, reports, blueprints, and other miscellaneous files.
