Scope and Content: 23 minute film on the reconstruction of the St. John's harbour which was undertaken in 1959 and completed in 1964. The film contains footage of the harbour prior to the development, showing coastal schooners, the old waterfront with finger piers, longshoremen, Portuguese white fleet, sealing ceremonies and as well as a visual record of the reconstruction project.
