Scope and Content: Yearly statistical tables prepared by the Inspector General of Customs giving detailed information as to:1. Navigation: accounts of the number of vessels with their usual crews, built and registered in the several ports of the British Empire and of the vessels entering inwards or clearing outwards in those ports, distinguishing those of British or foreign build. 2. Commerce: accounts of the total value of imports and exports of Great Britain, distinguishing British produce and manufactures from foreign merchandise. 3. Revenue: accounts of the annual payments into the Exchequer arising from the customs, excise, stamp etc. The tables are made out for periods of five or ten years. Complete series.
