Clarendon, ON 23338, 1867. "Effects of James A. Hall, lost, were sold as under viz" is a typical example of an inventory, though this page does not include an account of Hall's wages. His effects were: 2 pr trousers, 2 pair drawers, 3 shirts, 2 pair stockings, hammock, blanket, bags, pillow, 1 monkey jacket, 1 oilskin suit, 1 Guernsey and comforter, 1 Crimean shirt, and 1 pair boots, worth a total of £3 2s 3d.
