Additional Information Dr. Eliot Curwen accompanied Dr. Wilfred T. Grenfell in 1893 to northern Newfoundland and Labrador. He noted in his album that "In this one room live 4 men, 1 boy & 1 girl, night & day." Note the effort to keep the room attractive however evident in the lace doilies and the cups and saucers stored on the shelf
