Dear Lil,
I have so much to tell you, I hardly know when & how to begin. You see I have started writing in an exercise, expecting to write it through: but I daresay before I get half way through it, I shall be tired. We received your post cards & were more than glad to hear from you, as you have not written so long, owing to the Bruce's being stopped in the ice I suppose.
Granfer came down next day, so I gave him the post card you sent. He was delighted. He says "Winnie still knows
