The D. F. Cook Recital Hall, noted for its impeccable acoustics, and the technologically spectacular Petro-Canada Hall, regularly offers public performances such as quartets, student recitals, invited guest performances, visiting faculty performances and evenings with the chamber choir and youth symphony orchestra.
The Great Hall at Queen’s College features exhibits of Newfoundland and Labrador archaeology and material culture artifacts. Exhibits have featured Newfoundland ship models and paintings, Newfoundland outport furniture, and the history of Pippy Park, which surrounds the university.
