Emergency preparedness

Memorial University is committed to ensuring the safety and security of everyone within its community – staff, faculty, students and campus visitors.

On these web pages, you will find detailed instructions on what to do in a variety of emergency situations.

All members of our campus community are encouraged to familiarize themselves with this information, and to go back over it on a regular basis.

The University has also developed a detailed Crisis Management Plan (CMP) to provide a flexible framework for mobilizing the response to any emergency or disaster that affects the well-being of its community members, or threatens property on a large scale.

If you have a suggestion for adding to or improving these web pages, please contact Victoria Collins, director of Marketing and Communications, who is responsible for the university’s crisis communications activities.
